2007 Pittsburgh Fire, Rescue & EMS Expo held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. During the event the 1st Out Specialty displayed some of it's recently delivered units as well as an American LaFrance Eagle 100' mid mount ladder tower demo unit. As an extra added attraction, Chris Hoke of the Pittsburgh Steelers was present to meet fans and sign autographs. Afterward, 1st Out Specialty donated all the proceeds from the autograph session to the Pittsburgh Metro Fools Training Association. Check back soon for a photo gallery of the event

During the month of October, 1st Out Specialty closed its doors for a couple of days so the employees could attend the 175th year anniversary and new plant grand opening ceremonies in Summerville South Carolina. It was two days packed full of plant tours, informational seminars, antique fire apparatus displays, kids activities, visits to the fire fighting museum, and much more.
